The Dropship Buyer Team plays a critical role in helping customers find products beyond standard replenishment. Managing over $600 million in dropship and special-order activity, this team partners with customers, sales teams, and vendors to source creative solutions, support order execution, and deliver a high level of service.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Find and purchase the right products for transactional, program, RFP, and large-bid needs, including custom manufactured and imprinted items.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners on special projects, contract renewals, SKU issues, and vendor compliance to keep customer solutions moving forward.

  • Negotiate cost, availability, and logistics to help deliver competitive, profitable solutions.

  • Tap into vendor networks and identify creative sourcing options to deliver best-fit products, including substitutes when appropriate.

  • Develop pricing solutions that support margin targets and help convert opportunities into profitable sales.

  • Support customer requests for products outside standard replenishment, including daily dropship and fulfillment center special orders.

  • Keep internal and external customers informed with timely updates on order status, open purchase orders, and expedited needs.

  • Contribute to departmental buyer goals and help the team deliver results.

What you bring to the table:

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and navigating websites and business systems to get work done efficiently.

  • Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while staying aligned to team priorities.

  • Flexible, detail-oriented, and organized, with strong information-gathering skills.

  • Able to exercise sound judgment and make thoughtful decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities and keeping work organized to meet deadlines.

  • A practical problem solver who can identify solutions and keep work moving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting customers, procurement activity, order management, or related business operations.

  • 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Office.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Procurement, Merchandising, or a related field.

  • Experience with dropship, e-commerce, special-order, or non-stock procurement.

  • Experience with ERP, purchasing, procurement, or order-management systems.

**The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting.  The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, business considerations, geography, and internal equity.   Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
