Staples is business to business. You’re what binds us together.

Bring the Staples brand to life across the enterprise. In this highly visible role, you will turn brand strategy into experiences, tools, and standards that help associates and customers experience a consistent, compelling brand at every touchpoint.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the enterprise-wide internal brand rollout through town halls, leadership sessions, training programs, and adoption strategies in partnership with Talent and Corporate Communications.

  • Own activation of the brand system across physical and operational touchpoints, including fleet and trucks, uniforms, packaging, and office environments.

  • Oversee sampling programs and experiential initiatives that make the brand tangible and engaging.

  • Develop and operationalize the Brand Book and Brand Hub to make brand standards accessible, usable, and easy to adopt.

  • Manage cross-functional project plans, timelines, and deliverables to drive high-quality, on-time execution.

  • Coordinate across Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, HR, Corporate Communications, and other teams to align brand initiatives with business priorities.

  • Translate brand strategy into scalable programs, tools, guidelines, and governance that support consistent execution.

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen brand visibility, consistency, and effectiveness across internal and external touchpoints.

  • Monitor adoption and effectiveness, using feedback and insights to refine brand activation approaches.

  • Provide dotted-line leadership, project oversight, mentoring, and guidance across multi-stakeholder teams without formal direct-report accountability.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to turn enterprise brand strategy into practical, scalable execution.

  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and partners across the organization.

  • Strong project and program management skills, including the ability to balance multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Clear, effective communication and facilitation skills for presentations, training sessions, leadership discussions, and vendor interactions.

  • Creative problem-solving and sound independent judgment when navigating new or evolving brand challenges.

  • Experience developing and implementing brand guidelines, systems, governance models, digital brand hubs, or asset management systems.

  • A consistent focus on detail, quality, usability, and brand integrity.

What’s needed: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related work experience.

  • 10+ years of experience in brand strategy, brand management, integrated marketing, or a related field within a corporate or agency environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree, MBA, or another related advanced degree.

  • Experience leading enterprise or large-scale brand rollouts, transformations, internal brand adoption, or change management initiatives.

  • Experience in retail, consumer goods, or omnichannel environments.

  • Experience managing physical brand execution, such as packaging, environments, uniforms, or fleet branding.

  • Project management certification or formal training, such as PMP or Agile, or formal training in change management methodologies.

We Offer:

  • Inclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups

  • Flexible PTO (22 days) and Holiday Schedule (7 observed paid holidays)

  • Online and Retail Discounts, Company Match 401(k), Physical and Mental Health Wellness programs, and more
