Customer Success Consultant Project Manager

At Staples, Customer Success plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth. As a CSC Project Manager, you will lead complex customer initiatives, operational transformations, and root-cause resolution efforts that directly impact customer retention, satisfaction, and revenue realization. This role is ideal for a highly organized, solution-oriented leader who thrives in ambiguity, drives accountability across stakeholders, and can translate complex challenges into executable plans. You'll partner with Sales, customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes from project inception through completion.Acts as the Customer Success organization's project leadership resource for high-complexity, high-visibility, and business-critical customer initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead complex customer projects, implementations, and resolution initiatives from intake through completion.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, customers, and external partners to drive alignment and accountability.
- Identify challenges, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Exercise sound judgment to balance customer needs, business priorities, and project objectives.
- Provide clear project updates, reporting, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Vendors, and other business partners.
- Drive process improvements that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and project delivery.

What's needed - Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of business experience in project coordination and/or project management.
- Experience managing projects and driving successful outcomes across multiple stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- V/X-look-up, pivot tables and power query.
- Experience using Salesforce.com
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
What's needed - Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting or working directly within a sales organization.
- Experience managing customer implementations or onboarding projects.
- Experience supporting strategic customer accounts.
- Knowledge of enterprise order management systems.
- Demonstrated success leading process improvement initiatives.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business, Project Management, or a related field. PMP or PMI certification a plus.
