The Senior UX Designer is a hybrid expert in user experience research and design, responsible for deeply understanding user needs, behaviors, and pain points to create intuitive, engaging, and accessible digital experiences. This role applies both qualitative and quantitative research methods, collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, and translates research insights into actionable design solutions. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and creative design execution to enhance user satisfaction and meet business objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Plan, design, and execute end-to-end UX research using methodologies such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, A/B testing, and field studies
  • Analyze and synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights that inform product and design decisions
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Data teams to shape product direction and user experience strategy
  • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes aligned to research insights and usability best practices
  • Champion a user-centered design approach across all stages of product development
  • Lead usability testing, accessibility reviews, and heuristic evaluations across web, mobile, and internal tools
  • Present research findings and design recommendations to stakeholders, influencing outcomes and advocating for users
  • Monitor and evaluate user metrics to measure success and identify areas of opportunity
  • Document research methodologies, findings, and recommendations clearly and effectively
  • Mentor junior UX team members and contribute to design systems, standards, and best practices

What’s Needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on UX research and/or design experience in a product development environment
  • Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with research tools such as UserTesting, dscout, Optimal Workshop, Lookback, or similar
  • Strong understanding of usability principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and design systems

What’s Needed - Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Design, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of UX research/design experience with demonstrated success leading complex projects end-to-end
  • Experience working in agile environments and cross-functional product teams
  • Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML/CSS)
  • Experience conducting research across diverse or global user populations

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.
