As a B2B Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth by prospecting, engaging, and winning small to medium-sized customers within a defined territory. This is a high-velocity, results-driven sales role where you’ll leverage a mix of phone, video, face-to-face interactions, and digital tools to build meaningful relationships and deliver tailored solutions. This is a remote position with a regional focus. This position supports customers in Colorado. While the role primarily supports working from home, the individual performing this role would live within or adjacent to this region.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Prospect and win new small to medium business customers within your assigned territory

  • Generate new business revenue

  • Conduct high-volume outreach using prioritized call lists and digital sales tools

  • Set and manage weekly appointments with key decision-makers

  • Utilize professional selling techniques to uncover customer needs and present tailored solutions

  • Effectively communicate Staples’ value proposition

  • Overcome objections and close sales opportunities

  • Partner with internal teams to advance and close deals

  • Onboard and ramp newly acquired accounts

  • Maintain accurate CRM records

What’s needed – Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of sales experience

  • Ability to prospect and close deals

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

What’s needed – Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)

  • Industry knowledge a plus

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity.  In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.
