As a Merchandising Specialist (Bilingual English/French), you will play a key role in shaping branded merchandise strategies that align with client objectives and brand standards. Partnering closely with Account Service Leads, vendor partners, and cross‑functional teams, you’ll curate compelling product assortments, secure pricing, and deliver creative merchandise solutions—from concept selection through client presentation—while driving profitability and innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with Account Service Leads to develop product strategies and curated branded merchandise collections
- Review category and product performance while leveraging data and retail trends to drive informed merchandising recommendations
- Source, recommend, and present merchandise solutions—including decoration, embellishment, and custom artwork—aligned to project scope and timelines
- Continuously identify new products, suppliers, and imprinting techniques to keep offerings fresh and competitive
- Work directly with vendor partners to manage pricing, consolidate spend, and increase program profitability
- Manage internal product spreadsheets, ensuring accurate product details, pricing breakdowns, and margin control by program
- Serve as a brand advocate, ensuring all products meet customer brand guidelines and quality standards
- Produce accurate, creative product copy for client programs and presentations
- Present merchandise selections to clients, clearly articulating product rationale, research insights, and alignment to customer objectives
What You Bring To The Table:
- A creative mindset with strong problem‑solving and innovation skills
- Knowledge of decoration and imprinting processes for branded merchandise
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively under tight deadlines
- Results‑driven approach with a focus on meeting and exceeding goals
- Collaborative, positive team mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and pricing models
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset, but not required
What’s Needed – Basic Qualifications:
- Bilingual capability in English and French
- 2+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, merchandising, or a related field
- Demonstrated creativity and merchandising acumen
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills across internal and external partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel as business needs require
What’s Needed – Preferred Qualifications:
- Product development experience
- Knowledge of branded merchandise decoration and production processes
- Experience negotiating with vendors and managing margins
